4-hour, small group tour that covers two of the best preserved monuments from the Qutb Shahi period – the Charminar and the nearby Mecca mosque. This will be followed by the Asaf Jahi highlight of Chowmahalla Palace. Add-ons include transport, tickets to monuments and food.
Description
Hyderabad was founded by the fifth Qutb Shahi king, who tasked his Persian builders with creating the best city in the world. The Charminar was one of the elements that were built in accordance with the design, which recreated the plan of heaven on earth. A couple of hundred years later, the Asaf Jahi kings lived and ruled from the Chowmahalla Palace, one of the best-preserved palaces in Hyderabad.
In a small-group half-day tour lasting 4 hours, we will visit one of the best-preserved monuments from the Qutb Shahi period – the Charminar, and the nearby Mecca mosque. We will follow it up with a visit to the Asaf Jahi highlight of Chowmahalla Palace.

Highly Recommended Navin is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. As we were guided along the sites he provided a crash course on Hyderabad's history and culture that really enhanced my understanding of the city and its unique place in India. Led us to some delicious tea and biscuits, and helped immensely with shopping. Superb tour and guide.

Enriching, interesting ,informative and friendly tour For anyone who wants to tour Hyderabad and truly understand its history and culture, Navin's tours are a must !!! Had it not been for his tours, our trip to Hyderabad would have been a soulless journey. I had been to Hyderabad on an official visit and had a few spare days so took my elderly parents along so that they could tour the city. On the first day we all took the old city Charminar tour with Navin. His passion in sharing the history and culture of this city is so remarkable that it makes the entire tour so fascinating. So much so, that the next day when my parents went for the Golconda tour with him, I felt I was missing an important eye view of the city's history. But what makes it even more awesome is the sincerity with which he treats us. You feel like your spending time with a family member. And that left me at peace and anxious free even when my parents were touring in my absence. Infact he was so kind to offer a pickup and hotel transfer for my parents in my absence as I wasn't aware of any reliable transport service. And this was over and above the transport service for the tour. He also recommend many must try Hyderabadi dishes and suggested the places where we could get the same. Thankyou so much Navin for such a memorable experience!!!

A fabulous foody and culture experience of Hyderabad I was visiting Hyderabad for work and had a spare weekend where I wanted to get to know more about the real hyderabad. Ive visited the fort and a few other touristy thing but wanted a new non touristy experience. I was a little nervous of knowing what was safe to eat and where to go on my own buy Naveen tours meant I could experience. Naveen customised the tour to do some tours of the history of the region and then a desert tour in the older side of the city tasting all-sorts of deserts. It was so easy, exiting and felt like a really got to know more about the city and the country. He was so knowledge able and fun that it was the most enjoyable day. He also recommended other things to do and places to eat. He thought of everything. If in Hyderabad get a tour it really is an amazing experience. More
